Almost any unlocked GSM phone will work with SIMPLE Mobile. Over 1,500 different models of GSM phones are active on the SIMPLE Mobile network. However, we know that some phones work exceptionally well. I already have a phone and a SIM, how do I get service?
If you already have an unlocked GSM phone and a SIMPLE Mobile SIM card, then you just need to get yourself a SIMPLE Mobile plan and activate your SIM card. You can buy a plan online here in the SIMPLE Mobile Shop or at a local dealer.

How do I Re-Up my Plan?

Will I be charged more for long distance calls?
No, SIMPLE Mobile provides free domestic long distance. If a customer would like to place international calls they can purchase an ILD Plan that will allow for international dialing.
Can I bring my own phone number?
Yes, porting from all carriers is supported. Just make sure to request a phone number transfer at time of initial activation.
How long does it take to move my existing mobile number to SIMPLE Mobile?
It can take anything from a few hours to several business days to move your existing mobile number to SIMPLE Mobile. It usually depends on the carrier you are moving your number from, however
95% of number transfer requests are completed within 48 hours. SIMPLE Mobile may need to request additional account information from you to complete the process, again depending on the carrier you are moving the number from. If your number is not active on Simple Mobile after two business days, please contact Customer Support to resolve the problem.
Do I have to sign a contract?
One of the best things about SIMPLE Mobile is that we do not require a contract for our plan. All customers must agree to our terms and conditions prior to activating the service.
Is there an activation fee?
Our plan does not require an activation fee. No silly rules apply here.
Do I need to manually program the phone?
Many of our handsets do not require manual programming. SIMPLE Mobile handsets are programmed automatically over the air. Approved Blackberry devices should download their service books upon activation. Can I send international text messages on my SIMPLE Mobile rate plan?
Yes, unlimited SMS texting to people in more than 380 countries outside the USA is included in your Simple Mobile rate plan at no extra charge. Select the link below for details on which countries are served.
International Text Destinations
To send International Text Messages to destinations outside of the US that use 10-digit dialing, simply enter the 10-digit phone number of the message recipient as you would when sending a domestic text message. To send a text message to a destination outside of the US that does not use 10-digit dialing, you will need to include a "+" symbol, the designated country code, operator code and the cell phone number of the recipient.

To make international calls from the USA, first dial one of our regional access numbers - whichever is most convenient to you - and save it as a speed dial to your phone for later ease of use.
